Bikers are tough guys, and you don’t want to mess with members of a biker gang. These burly men and women with their big bikes are the epitome of firmness. However, some do not live by this principle.
The Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) is a non-profit organization of bikers worldwide. For several decades, this group has been around supporting children who have endured abuse from their family members.
There are BACA organizations in some major world cities in the US, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Before joining, members have to undergo thorough background checks. These checks are a must because they work with little children, and you wouldn’t want someone with a history of abusing kids in the organization.
When they meet up with children, the bikers usually offer BACA vests and even use names that kids will like and be comfortable with. Words like ‘scooter’ and ‘Pooh Bear’ are common and are comforting to children.
